As many of you in Seattle know, the Church of Bass venue has had to close its doors due to its inability to pay for the city-required fire code upgrades. The CoB quickly became one of the most important venues in Seattle for our lovely electronic community, and is directly responsible for allowing Chillography to ever become anything more than a pipe dream. There is hope, though! They have entered the Pepsi Refresh Project, in hopes of winning the grant money needed to get everything up to spec. If you love the Church of Bass, or want to support an innovative venue that relies on participation, rather than booze sales for income, then I urge you to cast your vote daily with the widget below or over at www.refresheverything.com/churchofbass.

I pushed v2 of the Chillography site live on June 13, 2009, exactly one year from Chillography101. It was a completely non-intentional synchronicity, but a very fitting one. We enter our second year with a fresh (virtual) face and fresh ideas on where to push the idea of creating world-class chillout events. Looking forward to taking this most fantastic of voyages with you all.

Hello world! I’m moving the Chillography site over to this blog format so that it’s easier to maintain and update. Plus, it’ll allow for some great ways to extend the site’s capabilities with RSS subscriptions and a possible Chillography podcast. I’ll be transferring all of the existing content over the next few days and phasing out the current site once it is all in place.
